The main characters in Act I

Adrian

Age: Thinks he is 13-14 something

Nationality: Italian.

Appearance: Blond hair with dyed dark pink streaks, grey eyes. Is really skinny and pale, and entirely too short, which leads people to think he's younger than his actual age. Usually wears slutty girl clothes, and too much make-up, usually lots of black and pink. More often than not, he has a number of drug stickers glued to his arms. 150cm/39kg.

Family: Deceased mother Sylvia, father unknown, younger sister.

Personality: A lonely boy who grew up without any friends, and has a very tilted opinion on what life is about anyway because of his less than happy childhood. Wants a friend, although he's not quite sure what that is anyway. Can appear cold and cynical, not to mention aggressive, but it's mostly because he doesn't know how to act differently. Out of the five basic need every human must fulfill in a specific order (go have a look at this page for details), Adrian is still struggling to satisfy the need for food and shelter as well as safety, and is thus not even capable of accepting and giving love. (Until someone feeds him. ^_~)


Naoki Yamashita

Age: 19

Nationality: Japanese.

Appearance: Dark blue/purple/black hair, light blue eyes. Has let his hair grown long, and it now reaches just below his jawline. Usually wears his standard issue grey military uniform. 167cm/53kg.

Family: Mother & father, four older brothers, one older sister, and their families.

Personality: Because of events in the past, Naoki tends to avoid trouble as much as possible, and especially taking responsibility when he doesn't have to. Used to rebel against his parents who runs a "traditional Japanese" conference and resort center (which Naoki think is just anachronistic crap) and joined the army to get away from them for a while, although he actually longs home now. Naoki is a trained architect, and is expected to return home to his job teaching traditional architecture, as well as build his own house on the family's property.


Alex Sheridan

Age: 22

Nationality: British

Appearance: Light brown hair, blue eyes. Taller than Naoki.

Personality: Super protective of Naoki, who he has a crush on, but won't admit it because it's against military regulations to have relationships within the group.

Note: Was supposed to be a background character, but my beta reader made me turn him into one of the official cast. Will show up in act II and III, as well as at least one of the side stories.


Minor characters in act 1

Sylvia: Adrian's mother. Dead since three years.
Drambuie: The bartender at the pub where Adrian lives.
Dr. Calvano: The doctor who seems to dislike Adrian greatly, because he doesn't miss an opportunity to get the boy to leave the town...
Martell: Friend of Naoki and Sheridan.
Morgan: Captain of the group, and Naoki's commanding officer.
Hennessy: Real nasty guy who hates Naoki and doesn't miss an opportunity to harrass him.
Larsen: Hennessy's friend.
Amaro: Dead guy, former member of Naoki's group...
